Ross 9M2AX
He is the well-kown Top band DXer but I will discribe him a little more detailedly.
He was born in 1948 and was very active as JA6FBQ in Japan.
As you know, he was very active as 9V1TK in Singapore and as 9M2AX in Malaysia.
He has been operating low band mainly, especially 160m, from 1975.
I worked him on 1907KHz at 1921z on June 15, 1975. It was the "First 9M2 - JA QSO"
on 160m.
Now his 160m DXCC is 160.
It is amazing performance as a far east Asian country where there are few country around
as well as low activity.
He was thinking to go home Japan a while at the end of April for the first time but
changed his mind to put off the itineraly because of knowing that BS7H would QRV.
What a crazy ham he is !
BS7H QRV for a second at the last part of QRT and he didn't miss the oportunity
to QSO on 160m.
He will stay my home for two nights and is flying to Fukuoka on Monday.
He is going back to Malaysia on May 21. He will be on 160m every day.
